Theories and Methods: Literature Science and Medicine

Learning Materials

Available resouces

The training programme will establish a network of supervisors and students working within this specific area, presenting information on their teaching, publications, and research projects, which could be added to over time. We hope that through this resources page, the network we establish will continue to grow, and the website will continue to offer useful and up-to-date resources for the student of literature, science and medicine.

On this page, during and beyond the lifetime of the face-to-face training programme, we will disseminate materials that teach the theories and methods of doctoral study in literature, science and medicine (including podcasts, filmed lectures, powerpoint presentations, slidecasts, reading lists, digitised archive materials, and other activities). The resources page also offers useful links and news from other sites and sources (societies, other research projects, and university departments).

After each face-to-face event in our programme, this page will present the online materials and tasks for specific sessions, such as reading materials and topics for discussion. If you have not been able to attend in person, you can visit this page to listen to or watch individual sessions, access reading lists, and follow the programme.

The social space will encourage participation in the programme itself. Sign up to the social space to publicise your research, make contact with others working in the same field, join discussion groups, create and read blogs.
