Social Space

The training programme will establish a network of supervisors and students working within this specific area, presenting information on their teaching, publications, and research projects, which could be added to over time. We hope that through this resources page, the network we establish will continue to grow, and the website will continue to offer useful and up-to-date resources for the student of literature, science and medicine.

On this page, during the life of the programme, the website will enable the participation of tutors and students through collaborative activities and the sharing of perspectives and experiences. It will provide a portal to the interactive network, where visitors and programme participants will have access to further information about the programme, and to the teaching activities that run alongside the training events.
Check out this page to engage in tasks connected to events in our training programme. We encourage active engagement, and elicit user-generated content from participants on and beyond the training programme. For example, in advance of any particular event, session leaders might require preliminary reading, specify topics for discussion, and propose the creation of a wiki on a particular subject to be covered.
The open-access, public nature of registration to the interactive parts of the site means that students who do not attend the event in person can still be involved in discussion. The site will also be used for the reflective diaries posted during the week-long introductory session at St Deiniol’s and for evaluative weblogs.
By providing a communication space that will exist beyond the funding period of the project, the website will create opportunities for autonomous collaboration and ongoing networking based on participants’ engagement.
